- The whisky is made from malted barley that is sourced from the Port Ellen Maltings on the neighbouring island of Islay. The water used in the production process comes from Allt Gleann, a nearby stream that flows into Loch Harport

- It has a sweet, malty aroma with hints of vanilla and spice, combined with plenty of bonfire and subtle hints of white flower
