100% Gamay, grown on a steep high-altitude plot in Bessay, Julienas. This is a classy and powerful upgrade from Beaujolais Nouveau, proving that Gamay doesn't always need to be young and jammy.
Semi-carbonic maceration is used, and the wine is then aged for 13 months in old oak before bottling.
The vineyard is managed using organic practices, and the winemaking is minimal intervention, using native yeast and avoiding fining or filtration.
Pairs perfectly with roast chicken and rosemary.
