• The Pol Roger vintage is produced in limited quantities and uses the traditional House Blend from twenty different parcels of Grand and Premier Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs.
• 2018 was considered a good year for all grapes across the whole region, with a warm, dry summer producing fruit forward notes and softer acidity in the wines.
• Pol Roger was first founded in 1849 by Mr Roger at only the age of nineteen, it is still a family-run business today.
• Pol Roger was famously Winston Churchill's favourite champagne, saying 'In defeat I need it, in victory I deserve it.'
