When you think of an Italian red, things like Chianti, Barolo and Brunello might jump to mind, but one region not to be missed is Etna where the indigenous Nerello Mascalese produces light-bodied, fruity and spicy wine not dissimilar to Pinot Noir. This is one of my favourite reds from the region. - Min Yee Tseu
