A bright and lively Pinot Noir, with a bouquet of wild red berries followed with touches of prune, smoke, and mushroom.
- Pascal Clément grew up in Burgundy and embarked on his winemaking journey in 2012. He is now based in Savigny-les-Beaune, where he makes a range of red and whites from various regions in Burgundy.
- The vineyards are located on limestone slopes, which are perfect for the viticulture of Pinot Noir due to good drainage and increased sunshine.
- Pascal Clément does not own any of his vineyards, but has created fantastic relationships with 15 growers from which he buys his grapes from.
- This wine spends 10 months aging in barrel, which gives the wine volume and complexity in aromas.
- Pascal believes this is a great wine for Burgundy beginners!

Burgundy is so hit and miss, but this basic Pinot Noir from Pascal Clement gives a layer of fruit followed by classic savoury Burgundian undertones. It just dances on your tastebuds. Well worth a foray with food or be daring - without. - John Chapman, OWC
