An amazing Chardonnay-Chenin Blanc blend that punches well above its weight

• On the nose, lemon zest, delicate elderflowers, and enticing orange blossom, with a refreshing minerality.
• On the palate, notes of white lilies, jasmine, and a gentle touch of grapefruit pithiness, all complemented by some toasty vanilla from the oak aging.
• The Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc in this blend is sourced from exclusively cooler climate vineyards that complement the name of the wine. 37% of the wine was matured in concrete eggs, and 67% was matured in older French oak barrels.
• CL is the Lifestyle range in the Oldenburg Vineyards stable. For them, the CL range represents a key part of the Oldenburg Vineyards story: that they are cooler than Stellenbosch (in terms of climate at least!).
• A versatile food pairing wine, that will go with anything from roast chicken, to creamy pasta, to richer fish dishes.
