A fragrant, robust red from a highly acclaimed producer in the lesser known region of Toro

• Aromas of red berries, blueberries, blackcurrants, violets and a touch of smoke leading to tobacco, dark chocolate and rosemary. The palate is rich and beautifully harmonious, with well-integrated tannins and a long, lingering finish.
• 18 months in a combination of large and small French oak barrels, of which 60% are new barrels, contributes notes of sweet spice, cinnamon as well as vanilla.
• Toro is a small sub-region situated within Castilla y Leon, North-West Spain and is renowned for producing intense, full-bodied red wines of exceptional quality.
• Numanthia is Bodega Numanthia's flagship wine. Grapes are picked from low yielding vines, on average between 50 to100 years old, and are left to fully ripen producing grapes of extreme concentration.
• Pair with roast lamb, duck or cured meats.
