Nerello Mascalese with notes of red berries, herbs and spices.
- Made from 100% Nerello Mascalese, a variety native to the slopes of Mount Etna, where it has become synonymous with its surroundings.
- The vines are 70 to 100 years old, producing low yields of incredibly high quality, concentrated grapes.
- The label represents the lava (red), the volcanic rock (black), and snow (white) of Mount Etna, while also revealing the technical aspects of the wine, for this one, the barrels used.
- Before release this wine is aged for one year in Etna chestnut barriques and then a further year in bottle, contributing more developed fruit notes.
- If you are a fan of Burgundy or Barolo, this certainly is a wine to discover and try!
