This rum is distilled at Monymusk in both modern multi column, continuous stills and historic pot stills. The former produces a floral component for the blend, while the latter gives a higher ester content. The first ageing phase takes place in Jamaica, then the rum spends 12 years ageing in Europe in ex-bourbon casks. This is an "untouched" rum, meaning it is bottled without sweetener, colouring or chill-filtration. The palate is tropical.
