Cabernet Sauvignon blended with 20 other rare grape varieties. This wine shows superb and concentrated flavours of black fruits with sweet tobacco and leather.
- 2020 was a great year for the grapes: a winter that wasn't too harsh; a gentle and not-too-wet spring, and a summer without heatwaves or spikes in temperature. Perfectly timed rain near the end of the summer ensured an excellent harvest.
- This vintage is a tribute to the remarkable vineyards of Mas de Daumas Gassac: the character, expertise first-class vines have come together here in wonderful harmony.
- It is made in classic Medoc style: long fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks without filtration. Maturation took place in young oak barrels for up to 15 months.
- Age this wine for between 5 and 20 years and you will unlock its highest form: an exhibition of finesse, power and roundedness, with an abundance of tertiary aromas coming to the fore.
- This wine will stand up to any rich and delicious food. Perhaps try it with stewed beef or a cassoulet.

The "Lafite of the Languedoc". I'm pleased and proud to sell this wine at the OWC. A superb wine which after decanting will reveal some notes of tart red fruit, black plum, with a touch of leather. If you are patient enough, after a period of 15-20 years, this gem should develop some hints of dried roses, notes of truffles and game. Outstanding. - Romain Alaphilippe, OWC
