A rich and unusual blend of 25% Viognier, 25% Chardonnay, 25% Petit Manseng, 15% Chenin Blanc and a 10% collection of 14 other rare grape varieties
- This wine shows magnificent minerality and complex fruit aromas. It is a substantial wine with a strong, zesty character and a wonderfully lengthy finish.
- Mas de Daumas Gassac are true pioneers of quality winemaking in the Languedoc, and are regarded worldwide as the 'Grand Cru' of the region.
- The winery cellars are built in the foundations of a Gallo-Roman mill and the steel vats for vinification are naturally ventilated by two springs running under the cellars. This environment slows down fermentation and encourages complexity.
- This wine has wonderful ageing potential: if kept for 4 to 12 years it will evolve into a rich wine with notes of honey and crystallised fruits.
- A fantastic pairing for seafood, pasta and light poultry dishes.
