"A seductive and enthralling wine from the iconic Marchesi di Grésy estate. Produced from their Monte Colombo vineyard in the Monferrato hills - combines rich vibrant fruit with elegance and great complexity" - Joanna Simon, Wine Journalist.
100% Merlot, this is a rich and warming red that's perfect for whiling away an evening with friends...which I may have done on more than one occasion! - Min Yee Tseu, OWC
This Piemontese Merlot is a delicious alternative to Right-Bank Bordeaux. With plum and cherry aromas and an earthy, slighty savoury finish, this would be lovely with roast beef, or on its own in front of a fire! - Nick Gorton, OWC
Elizaveta & Lucas Grinstead - 2nd March 2023
Enjoyed this during blind wine tasting night with some friends, it was everyone's top pick out of all other wines! Tastes like a right bank Bordeaux with a Northern Italian twist (similar to Chateau Clarisse we had in Paris). Loved it - woody, caramel, dark cherry, vanilla, leather, blackberry.
