Made from the first plantings of Assyrtiko in South Africa - a crisp, mineral and saline take on this Greek variety.
- Notes of citrus peel, crunchy green apple and stone fruit, combined with zesty acidity and a steely minerality.
- Grapes are hand-harvested, fermented in stainless steel tank to preserve purity of fruit, and then kept on the lees for 4 months before bottling.
- Grown on a dry, windy, sea-facing slope in Stellenbosch where the Mediterranean climate is perfectly suited to varieties such as Assyrtiko.
