Concentrated and powerful Northern Rhone Syrah

This Cornas offers a complex aromas of dark fruits, pepper, and smoked meat notes.
Its full body, robust tannins, and long finish create a wine that is both bold and balanced.
From the 2017 vintage, winemaker Matthieu Barret decided to eliminate the use of oak entirely from his winemaking. This Cornas has been vinified with indigenous yeasts.
The 'Brise Cailloux' uses fruit from the terraced vineyards' mid and lower slopes. It is aged for 18 months, mainly in 20-hectolitre concrete vats with a small amount in six-hectolitre amphorae.
Ideal with grilled meats, game, and rich cheeses.
