Unusual but rewarding Jura white made from Savagnin
- An intense nose, packed with aromas of nuts, spice and vanilla leads on to a palate showing great structure and roundness.
- 'Vin jaune' wines are aged in oak barrels for a minimum of six years and three months.
- Vins jaunes, are aged under a flor-like cover of yeast and the resultant rich wines are known for their nutty, Sherry-like character - as well their intensity and ageing potential.
- Comté and Vin Jaune is a classic pairing, but also works with savoury mushroom dishes.

Incredibly complex and beautifully savoury, combining sherry-like salinity and warm nutty notes with ripe vibrant fruit. This rare and unique style of wine is a real favourite of chefs, and it's not hard to see why. - Emily Silva, OWC
