Domaine de Chevilly Quincy La Licorne d'Or 2023

Great Sauvignon Blanc from a lesser-known Loire Valley sub-region
- Aromatic, with citrus, pepper and floral notes, the palate is fresh and fruity with some minerality and balanced acidity.
- Both vinification and ageing is carried out in stainless steel to retain aromatic freshness. The wine is then aged on its fine lees for 3 months, to add some texture and complexity.
- Quincy, the second appellation established in France and the first in the Loire Valley, has gained recognition for its exclusively Sauvignon Blanc white wines which are are renowned for their characteristic crispness and dryness.
- It is situated south east of Tours and south west of Menetou-Salon. The terroir is mainly sand with patches of clay which suits Sauvignon Blanc as it warms rapidly, bringing early ripening.
- Great with salmon or summer salads.
- Grape variety: Sauvignon Blanc
- Vintage: 2023
- Type/Colour: White
- Alcohol: 12.5%
- Bottle Size: 75cl
