A single-vineyard Assyrtiko from Northern Greece.
- Notes of orange zest, passionfruit and bergamot are complemented by blossom, ginger and a touch of jasmine leading to an elegant mineral finish.
- 5 months lees ageing in a combination of stainless steel, amphora and oak barrels adds elements of complexity by adding a touch of richness as well as subtle flavours of spice.
- Domaine Apostolidi are a family-run winery based in Kavala, a sub-region of Macedonia in Northern Greece. The family own 16 hectares of vineyards, which are farmed biodynamically.
- Now run by third-generation winemakers Vasilki and Efthymios, who have transformed the winery with their meticulous approach to winemaking as well as investing in a state-of-the-art winery.
- Would be a great accompaniment to meatier fish, such as tuna or monkfish, poultry dishes or sushi.
