Classy Beaujolais from top-tier Burgundy house

AF Gros is one of the most renowned Burgundy houses of the Cotes de Nuits. Their foray into Beaujolais and particular Moulin-a-Vent has brought a bit of Burgundian magic to the humble Gamay grape.
This is an expressive wine with delicate yet juicy red fruit, plum and hints of black pepper.
Lively and vibrant acidity, with gentle tannins to help give structure and depth. A fine example of how good Beaujolais can be!
No carbonic maceration here; instead made like traditional red Burgundy and aged in large oak foudres for 12 months.
Pair with duck, game or mushrooms.
