Château Haut-Gaudin is owned by Vignobles Bernard Dubourg and consists of 60 hectares of vineyards. This is a property to follow. A look at the winery, finished in time for the 2000 vintage, indicates the enormous financial effort that has been made. Progress continues now that Bernard's son Benoit has taken over the wine making. He is without doubt one of the best wine makers in the Entre-deux-Mers. All the current Â'good practice' techniques are in use: reduction of yields, close attention to maturity, separation of lots according to parcel type etc, as well as some in house vinification methods that might help a few more prestigious establishments!
