A ripely fruited nose with black fruit, dried herb and spice notes.

With a family tradition of growing and making wine that dates back hundreds of years, Bodegas D. Mateos is one of the latest rediscoveries in Rioja.
The fruit was hand harvested to ensure only perfectly ripe grapes made it into the ferment.
Ageing took place in a combination of new and used French oak barrels for add complexity from oak spice.
Enjoy this youthful style of Rioja with cheeses and cured meats.
