Highly refreshing with flavours of dried figs, dates and molasses
- Lustau pioneered the "almacenista" system, whereby individual dry Sherries are sourced from small private holdings, and bottled under Lustau's name but bear the individual bodega's name, too
- Moscatel represents less than 1% of planting in Sherry, so this is a special wine
- Marmalade and orange peel notes with a freshness that balances the residual sugar
- A perfect Sherry for puddings like fruit salad and fruit cake
- Lustau's wines are amongst the most sought after Sherries in the region
- Grape variety: Muscat
- Vintage: NV
- Type/Colour: Sweet
- Alcohol: 17%
- Bottle Size: 37.5cl
- Group: Sherry
"Pure, luscious, raisiny treat. Will impress sherry buffs." - Fiona Beckett, The Guardian
Emilio Lustau was established in 1896 and was initially a small family concern until the founder`s son-in-law placed it on a business footing. The firm is perhaps best known as pioneering the Almacenista system, whereby individual dry sherries are produced from small private holdings. These are bottled under Lustau`s name but with the individual bodega's name on the label as well. Today they are amongst the most sought after Sherries in the region.
