At 14 years old, finished in Madeira wine casks and bottled at cask strength, this is a truly magnificent expression of delicately peated Highland whisky

• Bottled by our good friends at Berry Brothers & Rudd as part of their Coast & Shores selection, this is a release of just 268 bottles from the Ardmore distillery in the Scottish Highlands
• A large Victorian distillery, the bulk of Ardmore's production goes into Teacher's blended whisky. A small percentage is bottled for the single malt market, which has earned the distillery cult status among Independent Bottlers
• Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2024 aromas of sweet apricot, tinned peaches and gummy fruit leap from the glass. All wrapped in notes of sweet bonfire smoke
• The palate is wonderfully viscous with chewy notes of smoked plums, charcoal, earthy peat, peaches and oak spice
• Immense complexity persists towards a finish of lingering smoke and oily fruitiness
