Ardmore 12 (2010) Old Malt Cask - Hunter Laing 2010

A sweet and smoky dram from cult distillery Ardmore, bottled by industry stalwarts Hunter Laing

• The Laing family have been in the Scotch Whisky business for more than three generations. They specialise in maturation, buying in new make spirit and laying it down to maintain full control of quality
• Ardmore are somewhat of a cult distillery amongst whisky fans. Located in the East Highlands, the bulk of production has always been used to add depth and character to Teacher's Blended Whisky
• This release was distilled in July 2010 and bottled in 2022 from a refill barrel to commemorate the launch of Hunter Laing's Ardnahoe Single Malt
• The nose is complex with notes of caramel, honey and peat smoke infused lime
• The palate is sweet, viscous and very smoky with notes of ripe apple and lime drawing towards a balanced smoky finish
