The brewery was Initially set up by"the original two cocks" Michael and Phil, in which they built an architecturally stunning house on 40 idyllic acres of Berkshire Countryside that featured on Grand designs. They started brewing in 2011 after stumbling across hops in the hedgerows, a venture that proved fruitful in the first 2 years with them going on to wine 9 awards. The two continued brewing great beer until 2017 when Les and Caroline took over the brewery and farm where they continue the passion for brewing great beer

The brewery aims to be as sustainable as possible with nothing going to waste. From the from the spent grain and yeast from each brew get fed to the cattle and pigs on the farm. And the spent hops go towards enriching the farms soil.

They have a core range of 8 beers, five of which are award winners and two of them multi award winning
