Terredora was established in 1978 with the aim of reviving and gaining a full understanding of the regions native varieties such as Aglianico, Fiano, Greco and Falanghina. In 1994, due to a family dispute, brothers Luccio and Walter Mastroberadino parted ways with Walter retaining the vineyards and Terredora name. After buidling a new winery he continued to build the success of the Terredora brand and today they are one of the most innovative, yet committed to their roots, of all Italian producers.
Terredora own 200 hectares in the very best areas of Avellino, in Campania, Southern Italy. This covers areas such as Campore, Terre di Dora and Terre degli Angeli. They have a cast range of soils, microclimates and grape varieties.
Terredora have a long history with the Mastroberadino family but are still a young operation. They maintain traditional grape varieties but add modern techniques to craft exciting and unusal wines.
The Aglianico and Taurasi DOCG are exceptional wines.
