Luigi Bosca
Website: http://www.luigibosca.com.ar
Luigi Bosca started in 1901 when Leoncio Arizu left Italy to join his uncle in Argentina. The family had winemaking in their blood and Leoncio wanted to learn from his uncle, Luigi Bosca, and build something in the new world. Today Luigi Bosca is one of the most important wineries in the country and is still in the Arizu family.
The winery and majority of the vineyards are situated in the Lujan de Cuyo region of Mendoza. They also have some land in the higher elevation Uco.
Big Argentine wine brands have a history of being somewhat industrial and owned by large companies. Bosca is not only a major player in Argentina but still in the hands of the original family. They are absolutely top class.
The Gala range shows creativity and quality.
